Android: make sure NFC is turned on in your quick settings
Finding the right spot
🤖Android: the antenna's exact position varies by phone model, usually from the middle of the phone upward. Holding your card vertically often helps, and on many newer phones it sits right next to the camera module
🍏iPhone: hold your card flat against the back of your phone, sticking out about 0.4 inches (1cm) above the top edge.
While scanning
When your phone detects the card, you'll feel a small vibration. That's your cue to stop moving and hold the card completely still against the phone until you see Completed! If the card moves after that point, the scan can fail.
